What kind of dust bags do we use?
Jmylady uses brand new and authentic Hermès dust bags, obtained legally from the secondary market, customer donations, or her personal collection. Each dust bag undergoes careful inspection before being upgraded.
What is your handcrafting process like?
Before crafting, we pre-measure the required dimensions for dust bags based on different bag types and then cut the pieces in bulk. This is a complex process because Hermès dust bags come in various sizes. We must be meticulous, as a mistake in cutting a piece means that the entire dust bag cannot be used.
WHAT IS YOUR HANDCRAFTING PROCESS LIKE?
After the cutting of dust bag pieces is completed, we need to continuously iron the dust bags to keep them in a smooth state. This process requires using a low-temperature iron multiple times, as high temperatures can damage the fabric of the dust bags.

In the fourth step, we need to reinforce the dust bags. We incorporate various fabrics and materials to bond onto the dust bags to make them more rigid. Additionally, after the bonding is complete, we continue to use low-temperature ironing continuously.

Then, we need to prepare the required zippers and some other auxiliary fabrics.......which is also a lengthy preparation process.

This step involves the initial stitching for different bag types. Please note: the actual handcrafting process and level of difficulty vary for each bag type; here, I am providing a simple demonstration image.
